Individual Sensory Consultation
Rhythmic Movement Training International (RMTi) is based on natural movements babies make during early development. These gentle, rhythmic actions support the integration of primitive reflexes — the automatic responses we’re all born with that influence learning, behaviour, and emotional balance.
Developed from the work of Swedish movement expert Kerstin Linde, RMTi offers a simple, non-invasive approach to unlocking brain-body potential.
In RMTi, we use gentle rocking and reflex-based movements that mirror the natural motor patterns of infancy. These movements help develop and strengthen neural pathways, laying a foundation for better focus, coordination, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing.
Each session supports the nervous system in moving from a stressed state to a more relaxed and responsive one. This allows learning, communication, and healthy behaviour to emerge more naturally.
RMTi is suitable for individuals of all ages — from young children to adults. It is particularly helpful for those experiencing:
Attention and focus challenges (ADD/ADHD)
Learning difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia)
Sensory processing struggles
Emotional imbalances and anxiety
Autism spectrum differences
Coordination and movement challenges
PTSD, panic, or emotional overwhelm
Many families and professionals have seen lasting improvements by using these techniques regularly.
One of the strengths of RMTi is how easy it is to learn and apply. The movements are simple, enjoyable, and don’t require any special equipment. Parents often find them easy to do at home, and children enjoy participating. Adults find them calming and effective too.
The foundational movements explored in RMTi reflect key stages in a child’s early development, including:
Pre-birth movement in the womb
Motor patterns in the first 6 months of life
Crawling and getting up on all fours
Learning to stand and walk
These stages are essential for healthy brain development, posture, muscle tone, and lifelong motor skills. RMTi revisits these stages to strengthen the nervous system and help individuals grow with confidence and ease.
While the benefits can feel transformative, RMTi is not a quick fix. This work takes time — often a year or more — as the brain and body revisit and complete developmental stages that may have been skipped or underdeveloped.
The goal is lasting change, built on a strong foundation. Many describe the results as life-changing.
Drug-free support for learning and behaviour
Natural brain-body integration
Backed by developmental and neurological principles
Suitable for all ages and abilities
Easy-to-follow movement activities
